Located an hour and fifteen minutes west of San Antonio and just 7 miles south of Garner State Park, in the beautiful Texas Hill Country,  River Oaks Resort is family owned and operated with thirty six modern vacation homes and cabins on and nearby the crystal clear Frio River. All homes are completely furnished, heated & air conditioned and all kitchens are fully equipped to provide you with a complete home away from home at very affordable prices.  We are currently booking for Fall of 2009 and anytime in 2010. You must be over 21  in order to rent a cabin from us.  Valid ID required in order to place a reservation and check in.

Peak Season during 2009 is May 21- Sept. 7 and off season begins Sept. 8th, 2009 and ends May 26th, 2010.  Peak season 2010 is May 27- September 6, off season begins September 7th, 2010

Frio River                                                                We welcome your pets!   

Deer Run # 8  is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin, that sleeps 10 and is right across the street from Cypress Villa # 4 and the Frio River.  This cabin rents for $215 a night during our summer season and $165 a night during our off season.

All River Oaks properties are Non-Smoking.

There is a two night minimum stay required during our off- season and a three night minimum stay during Holidays, such as Thanksgiving,Easter or Spring Break and Summer.  We cannot accept a one nights' stay anytime.

You can enjoy the Frio River as well as our nature trails, horseback riding, playing miniature golf, watching the deer and other abundant wildlife the Frio Canyon area is so famous for and just relaxing in the hot tub. Now is the time for you to visit the Texas Hill Country and relax for a few days.   You deserve it !!!

 All homes have, full kitchens, Satellite TV/DVD and private patios with B-B-Q and picnic tables.  Most have fireplaces and spas. Many have washer and dryer.  1 Br. to 6 Br. homes are available
